World War II and Korean War Veteran
after the Ceremony


Mrs. Jean Lightfoot narrated the Ceremony

The American Legion Post 120 Performed the 
Presentation of the Colors


Mrs. Anna Burch sang the
National Anthem

Reverend Randy Carnley gave the Invocation

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Bud North

State, District and Local Garden Club Members

The Mayor of Midville is on the right




The Welcome to the Dedication was performed by the
Mayor of Midville - Samuel Cummings



Greetings from the Garden Club of Georgia were delivered by
President Mrs. Jane Hersey

The Speaker was Mr. Jim Reeves - Commander of
the American Legion Post 120

The Marker Dedication was conducted by Mrs. Janice Thiese,
Chairperson of the Blue Star Marker Program for the
Garden Club of Georgia


The Sponsors of the Marker were presented Certificates for their 
participation.  The City of Midville, The Midville Garden Club, The 
Garden Club of Georgia, Post 120 The American Legion and
the Midville Lions Club.

The closing Prayer was conducted by Chaplain Bill Tinley of 
The American Legion

Mrs. Anna Burch sang God Bless America.  Post 120 The American Legion
then retired the colors

Standard Flower
at the 2018 Georgia National Fair
October 5 - 7 October
Perry Georgia

The theme for the show was "Celebrating the Best."  This was a Patriotic Flower Show.

During the Luncheon after the Show was judged the Flower Show Committee
posed with invited Guest from the Law Enforcement and Military Community.
