We then checked in for the Luncheon and enjoyed a wonderful Farm to Table Meal!

The Keynote speaker for this event held on Saturday, May 14 was Milledgeville's own Jon Jackson of comfort Farms.  Jon was a former U. S. Army Ranger but he is now the owner of the Farm and also operates a catering firm.  The mission of his farm is to promote a structured, holistic approach for displaced Veterans suffering from PTSD and other invisible disabilities, aiding their  reintegration  into family, society and the society.

This pictures shows Jon Jackson with Janice Thiese who is the Blue Star Marker and Gold Star Marker Chairman for the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc.

Jon's Talk was very informative and certainly focused on helping our Nation's Heroes!!
