Using What is Available

9 February 2021

Middle Georgia

This morning as I enjoyed My Breakfast I developed a desire to fabricate Flower Arrangements with materials that were readily available i. e. plant material and containers.

Searched the kitchen cabinets and found some containers that would be proper for the blooms that were available in the Gardens.

Lenten Roses (a.k.a. Helliborus), Paper Whites and Snow Drops in a vase with etched flowers shown here on the Newell Post!

No blooms, but foliage which complimented the container.  Anise, and Nandina with a branch of an unidentified plant!

A Cereal Bowl with one Ajuga Plant surrounded with Lenten Rose Blooms displayed on the Stair Steps so that it would have a proper background!

And finally an arrangement on the table on the Deck because some of the blooms had Prowling Ants.  Camellia Blooms, one Branch of a Japanese Holly Fern and one leaf from a Fatsia Plant.

I accomplished this project in less than 30 minutes and now we have four arrangements to enjoy for a few days.  The wonderful aspect of this is that no one can determine where I clipped the material from.

Therefore the Challenge for the viewers here is to develope an arrangement or arrangements to enjoy in your own Home.  Or if you are still working, do an arrangment for your workplace - if that is allowed and share your skills with your work mates.

Thank You!
