The following pictures tell the story of this Veterans Day Weekend 2012 activities in Oglethorpe Georgia as the local Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker.

The Stone Mount for this Marker was donated by a Garden Club Member and was relocated from her farm.

I received several of these plants from a friend several years ago.  I keep them on the deck on the North side of the house; however when Winter approaches I move them inside.  This is the reward I am enjoying right now.

The Milledgeville Council of Garden Clubs set the standard as once again our Nation prepares to observe Veterans Day 2012.

This Blue Star Memorial Marker Dedication is presented here with a series of twenty-two pictures that tell the story.

I am proud to be a Garden Club Member and appreciate the Blue Star Memorial Marker Program that has honored our Veterans, past, present and future since the program was established in 1945.
