Boy Scout Troop 75 Presented the Colors
and also led the Flag Pledge.
Diana Malone, the Oleander District Director,
Introduced the Guest.

behalf of the Garden Club of Georgia Members.
The State Chairman, Janice Thiese, for the Blue Star
and the Gold Star
Programs for Georgia presented the History
of the Blue Star Markers.

Star Marker Program presents
Lucille Braswell, President of The
Seedling Garden Club a
Certificate of Appreciation for
the Restoration of the Blue Star
Memorial Highway Marker and the
efforts expended for this Rededication.
Hilda Rushing, the Oleander District Chair
Blue Star/Gold Star Markers
gave a History of the Marker
which was first placed in the Swainsboro Area
in 1957.

Unkles and a unique Tribute to All Who Have Served, Are Serving or Will Serve our United States of America in the Military by The Brier Creek Militia and The Brier Creek Artillery, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution!
